Convert image files and image data in your browser.
Choose a conversion below. Every tool includes an instant result, an example and a short explanation.
Choosing the right conversion
An image conversion can change the file format, the pixel dimensions or the way bytes are represented as text. SVG is a vector description that can be rendered at a chosen size; PNG and WebP are pixel images. Image-to-Base64 instead encodes file bytes as text and does not change the picture itself. Choose the operation that matches the destination application.
The tools work locally in your browser. Check transparency, dimensions and file size before downloading the result. A larger exported image does not recover detail absent from the source, and a smaller file is not necessarily visually identical. Keep the original file when quality or future editing matters.
These tools read the selected file locally and create the result in your browser. The file is not uploaded for conversion. If you later publish a generated data URL or embed code, its contents become visible wherever you publish it.
Why did the converted image change size?
A format, quality setting or pixel dimension changes the number of stored bytes. Compare both the displayed dimensions and a visual preview; byte size alone cannot establish that the result has the same appearance or transparency.
